NJ ASK Introduction The NJ ASK (Assessment of Skills and Knowledge) is a state assessment tests given annually. The collection of websites on these pages will hopefully provide information and materials to help Parents, Students, and Teachers in preparing for these tests. Many of these websites are designed to give your children a chance to hone their skills and contain activities that are entertaining while they are educational. We hope these sites will bring out the best in your student as he or she prepares for the assessments. |

| Brainchild.com Pre-Assessment This site provides an excellent, grade-level, state-specific "pretest" of skills for math and language arts. Students answer a series of questions, which are then scored and reported in standards groups. Students can then study (answering further questions) in whatever areas they need to. The service is available for all states, but this link is NJ-specific. Note: The free on-line assessment will be available until Jan. 30, 2006. After this time, it will no longer be a free feature, will change its name to WebAchiever, and be a subscription service. | ||
