The following lists represent the supplies teachers would like to see their students come to school with in September. There are also some items noted that their teachers would rather not be brought to school.

You'll need everything on your Social Studies list such as, a Spanish notebook and folder, plus:
One pack of 100 white 3"X 5" index cards
One pack of 100 white 4"x 6" index cards
One set of fine markers to make flash cards
One good Spanish-English Dictionary

One subject notebook 70+ pages. More notebooks will be needed throughout the year. Please stock up!
One heavy duty 2-pocket folder that matches color of notebook for easy ID.
One 12-pack colored pencils and sharpener, as colored pencils have softer lead.
Two sharpened #2 pencils with erasers 
Two erasable blue or black ink pens everyday;   please stock up.
One yellow highlighter
One 12 inch ruler
One soft pouch with zipper to keep pencils, pens, highlighter, etc. in, so they're not lost in the bottom of the bag.
One large, heavy duty cloth cover for extra large textbook or (better yet) a brown grocery bag for a cover.

Backpack large enough to put a regular sized folder inside.  Please label the inside with your child’s name.  Please, for safety, no wheeled backpacks.
Change of clothes labeled with your child’s name, in a bag.  I recommend a T-shirt and sweat pants.  Please also include socks and underwear.  
Daily snack that may be eaten in about 10 minutes.
Light, child-sized sleeping bag for your child to use during rest time.  This sleeping bag should be easy for your child to carry home every other week for washing.
An item you may wish to donate to the classroom, but is not required, is a box of tissues.  We go through a lot in preschool!
More detailed information about your child’s upcoming school year will be discussed during Orientation August 25, 2008.
