  Character Trait: Citizenship - Carrying out the duties and responsibilities to one's country and community.
  Note: Selected art work to represent Folsom School will be on exhibit at the Noyes Museum of Art from May 3, through May 29, 2008. The opening reception will be Saturday May 10th from 1 to 3 pm. The museum is open to the public 10 am - 4:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 pm. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students. Children under six are free. Noyes Museum is located just off Rt. 9 between Smithville and Absecon, adjacent to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Turn right onto Lily Lake Road.
  Note: Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5th thru May 9th. Mother's Day is May 11th. The Folsom Home & School is selling flower seed packets for $1.00 per pack with a personalized card. Please complete all orders at home and send to school in an envelope marked Flower Grams, with cash or check payable to "FHSA".

9- Last Dance @ 7:00 - 9:30 pm for Grades 6-8. St. Joe and Hammonton students will be invited.  Cost is $5.00.  Refreshments will be available. Folsom 8th grade lock-in will follow @ 9:30 - 11:00 pm.
10- 8th GRADE CAR WASH - Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at the Folsom Fire House.  $5.00 per car.  Refreshments available.   Proceeds benefit the 8th grade. Also, FOLSOM DAY AT LINDY HOPS - Saturday, May 10, 2008 from opening to closing at Lindy Hops Ice Cream Parlor- Raspberry Run, Route 54, Hammonton.   A portion of all sales benefits the 8th grade.

Beginning with the meeting scheduled for May 13, 2008 the Board will begin all future meetings with an Executive Session at 6PM to discuss matters that are excluded from public discussion under N.J.S.A. 10:40-12. Depending on the number of such items from month to month the times may vary, but the Board will be trying to commence the public portion of the meeting before 7PM.
